Still you are away
As I wait and watch for you
even silence speaks
****
We found his old still
In a shed behind his house
making libations
****
In the still waters
I see reflections of you
Always clear to me

How nice it is to be remembered, Ellecee! Great take!

I pondered hard on how to use the alambic still, and couldn't make it work. Your middle one does it to perfection!
ReplyDeleteCheers, for the libations!
ReplyDeleteExcellent...! Especially the first one... very close to my heart.. thanks for it.. :)

ReplyDeleteloved the last 3 lines :)
ReplyDeleteall of them are wonderful! :)
ReplyDeleteLiked the third one most .. :)
Nice set. The 'still' also came to my mind, but not the inspiration for one. the shed would obviously be the hiding place for it :)
ReplyDeleteI like the three different ways you used "still". And the still - silence connection in the first - with the alliteration - makes that one my favorite.
