The April Heights - Day 29 - #141

As haiku poets
left to our own devices
we write more haiku

An ancient journey
fraught with dangers and delights
The grey geese return

Looking at albums
many pictures from the past
Loved ones departed

  1. Sometimes I feel like those grey geese...on an ancient journey...

Thanks for the imagery brushed in my heart.

  11. I first thought the "ancient journey" was haiku writing, following the first one, and then it was the geese - or is it both? It's lovely!
