Waves on shore
imprints in the sand
The tide turns
I watch them
caressing the shore
Ocean waves
I feel wave upon
wave pass through me, my terror
refusing to hide
I see you
waving from the car
Gone again

ReplyDeleteThis is my Day 5 ~~ Waves Wash Over Me.
I feel sadness in this. It makes me think of saying goodbye to a child going back to college again, knowing that one day, they will wave goodbye and not come back to live at home again.
ReplyDeleteI like all of these. They stand on their own, yet they seem to be linked.
