Who's Sorry Now

Through the looking glass
onto the stage
mic in hand
belting out the
Connie Francis song
age fourteen
pretending nineteen
lusting for life
naivete
without a parachute

who's sorry now

  1. Hopefully not too sorry for the life and daring of a youth long gone.

  4. I remember that song! My mom used to play it on the record player. I was her second child, born in '59 when she was just nineteen. A child, still, she danced and sang and listened to music a lot when I was very little.

  5. I did love Connie Francis and 'Who's Sorry Now' ... I remember my boyfriend's father had a HUGE crush on her which at the time I thought was 'gross.'
