Kitchen-Fairy

When cabin-mamma and
camp-pup come to town
roles change

Cabin-mamma transforms
to kitchen-ferry and
labrador-complainer
sulks

Our cleaning-warrior
tackles the grime-ridden
surfaces
narrowly escaping another
role as
stove-burner

A tad
over-enthusiastic comes to
watchers-mind

Soon enough the
cleaning-frenzy
ends

Cabin-mamma takes
 respite
coffee-mug in hand
and camp-pup
 resting
 at her feet

  1. I like the thought of a the cabin-mama ... especially liked the thought of a stove-burner... thank you for writing to the prompt

  2. LOL, my corgi would be just as underfoot and twice as sulky at being ignored if we went to an exciting new place together. As manic as this pace sounds, I actually am looking forward to a nice low key vacation with him and my family. At least my son could amuse him a bit!
