Life in the Garden of Weeds and Flowers

Between the rows
of stepping stones
flowers bloom.

The air is scented with
the dust of
lavender and roses

Here and there green
shoots
lift toward the light

causing imagined blights
in the choreographed corridor

These, too, scent the air
with individual
aromas

unique

  4. "causing imagined blights
    in the choreographed corridor"

So ebnjoying the alliteration of this. The nood evokes with unique yet anonymous scent is nicely done.

  5. This is beautiful. I can see an actual garden and a metaphor of what life plants in our days and years.

  6. This is lovely. And it's a sweet synchronicity that I too, in a very different piece, mentioned lavender and roses.
