Spring

It will come
Spring

The scent of rain on dry leaves
plants will push up sprouts
through the softened soil
searching for the sun
There will be flowers blooming
Birdsong
Hummingbirds returning
There will be cool mornings
warmth in the afternoon
peepers singing in the evening

It WILL come

Spring

  5. Lovely, Linda. We are celebrating Spring here but the flowers aren't as good as usual. It was a top down driving day and we went to the country. We had no freezes this winter an things were very dry, except for the flooding. I think the seeds did not germinate very well.
