After

At last
The storm is spent
The thunder and lightning
subsided
I walk out
into a fine summer rain
that feels warm on my face
like tears shed
during storms of
another kind

  3. There's nothing I love better than a thunder storm. It relieves the tension in the air and the soul.... love your poem

  5. Oh, the imagery, Ellecee! I can see her wailing her inner-storm and then walk out into the soothing warmth of Nature's own wailing.

  8. "I walk out into a fine summer rain" with the speaker too, Ellecee as I feel the release and ease after the storm. Powerful!
