Invisible

Who left her there?
In a country where
everyone speaks her language
but not to her
Invisible in the crowd
of the living
Against her will
her children suffer
Tears are not a cure
Frustration reigns amid
the chaos left by her
failure to reach out
"They" cannot offer solace
without knowledge
of need
Diagnosis
death

"Ellecee"

  2. So chilling from beginning to end. One can feel the despair of the subject, the outrage of the speaker, and the hurt... so much hurt...

    1. Feeling invisible is like losing your voice and being..the emptiness of that aches through this poem - like cold, forgotten bones which need to be held and warmed

It is most sad to be subjected to such a situation. Most poignant even chilling at the closing. Wonderful lines Ellecee!
