Cool

Cool, cool
rush of pain
a red haze in darkness
shadows passing
returning
a song
the ticking of a clock
church bell
memories
cool, cool
rush of wind
pause
wait
there again
whispers
never understood
cool, cool
shadows clinging
leaves rustling
arms encircling
cool, cool
day of the dead
final reckoning

  3. This certainly feels like a shiver - the ticking clock and coldness is very real.. i hope it is warmer (though not too warm!)

Having heard whispers in the woods at night this line is just perfection XXX

  6. There's a neat little effect you've created with the staccato feel of the line breaks. It's almost like a heart beat.
