I would never want to miss the dance. So I shall be there. Singing, most likely.
ReplyDeleteLove that this bit reads like a song. Yummy.
Whistles!!❤️❤️ Such power even in the brevity of your verse, Linda! Especially love the reference to "The sun/The storm/The funeral" feels like the circle of life.. sigh.. beautifully executed. Thank you so much for participating at Prompt Nights and for your constant love and support ❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteLots of love,

...or in other words "Do it now" otherwise you may regret it. Which applies to the whole of life.
ReplyDeleteSo effectively and powerfully written - i could picture and most importantly feel each carefully chosen word
ReplyDeleteI love, and I love the pace, the rhythm and the succinct message delivered. A masterly write, Ellecee!
ReplyDeleteVERY CREATIVE! It's coming, so enjoy life
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity of this. It drives the point of the poem home nicely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique look at how important it is to "be there" in all the various aspects of life. If we don't arrive on time, we miss out -- and we live the part we do attend rushing to catch up. It's so important to really live each moment isn't it?
