"Breathe-in experience, breathe-out Poetry" Muriel Rukeyser
Nicely composed ... I enjoy sailing to that island. Great painting with words. Thx for sharing.
nicely done.. packing my sailboat :)
And your haiku painted a lush picture in my mind! Nice one.
Oh, it is a very happy invitation...wish I could sail...I have never been to an Island..RS:)
I wish i could go on this one. :D Islands are really a bountiful gift of nature :) Thanks for writing this lovely haiku
that is one invitation no one can deny!!
"fragrant, lush, and bountiful" - i would love to sail to this place !!!
I love yours too. Sail to me...what a lovely thought.
Sounds very tempting :)
Yourself as an island sounds like an image of solitude as well.
I really like this because usually when people say they are an island they mean they are distant and unreachable. You turn the phrase on it's head and make it inviting and . . . lush.
you write superb haiku or poetry.welcome submitting a random poem or a haiku to us today.cheers.
