We gallop
the wind whips my hair
my thighs tingle
my heart rushes
scenes fly by
We canter
the wind warm on my face
the scent of flowers
We trot
the grass shivers
blooms bend
We walk
my heart slows
I'm smiling
We ride

ReplyDeleteThank you Susie,,
DeleteThis is nice, Linda. Structured off the progressively slower paces of a riding horse, we enjoy differing sensations. You know but I'm not sure what 'we' is, the horse and its rider or two or more riding together? But it is still nice, either way.
ReplyDelete..
You are right, Jim, it could be either way. Thank you so much for your kind words.
DeleteI like the structure and tenor of this pen ~
