It does take courage to be "we". So well said.
It is true, "not all joy lasts." But if we are lucky, it is replaced by a greater joy.

I thought of courage, too, when I heard this song and watched the video. Love and unity do take courage. Very nice!
That's a very lovely poem! And could apply to every couple – though we know, for the couple depicted in the video, an extra layer of courage was required.
