Conundrum

She came on retreat to weep

For all lost causes 

Hers and others

She hasn’t wept for years

She takes meds

to divert chaos

Problematic

 as all emotions 

are equally 

subdued

She could skip some 

pills

This is a beautiful place

to let go

But then she might not

be able to drive home

and she might not 

cry anyway
