Wasted
“
In a world of apples and kisses and shoes; he wasted his wishes on wishing”
Shel Silverstein
I don’t want that
Throw it away
I can’t eat that
Throw it away
I can’t wear that
Throw it away
That game is old
Throw it away
That coat is green
I hate green
Throw it away
I want a yellow coat
made especially for me
If you don’t do it right
you won’t get paid
and I’ll
throw it away
I want real honey
on my toast
Not that old stuff
on the shelf
Move that junk
out of my space
Make room for this new
castaway
What do you mean?
I’m a little bastard
Why did you laugh
when
my leg got busted?
Hand me that game
I can’t reach it now
You dare
leave me alone?
You know my name
I’m somebody
Where’d you all go?
