Affusion

Hot water

barely bearable

cascades over her body

secular affusion
washing away
negativity
perception willingly ascends
with the steam
her body releases itself
from angst, pity, doubt,
stoicism
embedded within
her zodiac sign
returns unfettered
tension disintegrates
leaving her world
momentarily
unscathed
