to brave those halls
in full view
Strange is beautiful
and you’re unique

let  them speak.
With your wounded
wings still beating
this is not the time
for retreating
Sing your song you
will be heard
Strange birds will hang
on every word
Then one day they’ll
be your own
flowering from those
seeds you’ve sown
Another strange bird
just like you
will fly into
this world you grew
Hand and hand
so perfectly
will fill the gaps
left by me
I’ve gone away
