there is only one way down

"dive / or stay forever". There is something extra ominous in the tone, in the choices... as if the freedom to decide feels like a trap. Then again, I might just be projecting--I've never liked knowing that I can only do one thing or another, with no wiggle room for adjustment.

So powerful. It is true I think....people must feel on the edge of a precipice in life and death decisions.
